The family owned Restaurant Il Roscio is just in front of the hotel. It offers a traditional Umbrian cuisine with homemade pasta dishes, from tagliatelle al tartufo (noodles with truffles, garlic and olive oil) to cariole all’arrabiata (“shoelace” pasta in a tomato, garlic and chilli sauce), passing through tagliolini with porcini mushrooms.

The chef suggests also a selection of grilled meats (sausages, ribs, lamb chops and steaks) grilled on a wood-fired flame before your eyes in the big fireplace. Most of the cakes and traditional pastries, such as ciambelle, tozzetti, fruit tarts and biscuits, are homemade.

The management also offers its guests the chance to taste selected local wines and DOC denomination wines, such as Orvieto classico, Greghetto dell’Umbria, Rosso di Montalcino, Sagrantino di Montefalco, Brunello di Montalcino and Chianti.
